While it's still in stock form, please slap on a LS3 90mm throttle body so we can finally get a confirmed report of any power gains in comparison to the stock 87mm unit.

I will however make sure we offer the best lsa camshaft a available

As far as pullies and snouts I will research if any shops that offers those parts wants us to test them while its on the dyno!
Post the results. Its what a comparison is for. The testing is useless to people on this forum if the results aren't posted.

It's totally your business if you test & don't post the results, but telling us about it & not showing us the results is really just a tease. The part that gets us revved up is seeing the numbers.

Not busting your chops, just being honest.

I think some of you don't get was he's saying. If he puts his brand can against a cam from another shop it would end in two ways
1. His cam wins and everyone cries foul or...
2. His cam loses and he runs off potential customers.

Now if he test a grind from a cam company that every shop will carry it won't be viewed as biased since he has nothing to lose or gain. Op if I'm wrong please correct but that's what I got from your last post.

really it's mainly option 1 & 3 I'm worried about.
1 everyone cries foul.
3. other vendors are butt hurt that they're camshaft doesn't keep up.

Reality is I have the engine dyno to do the development that virtually every other LS shop in the country doesn't have. As a result I get to side by side test so many things to make sure we sell the best possible camshaft designs to our customers. For that reason I have no doubt we will develop a extremely power camshaft that you guys will be real happy with.

I will however test the LS9 camshaft for you guys let you know how it goes. I will also test any ported snouts that a shop wants to send over. We don't port snouts so nobody can get mad at me for the results! LOL Finally I will test pulley swaps, camshaft swaps, and ported heads for you guys.

Just because I wont release data on a competitors camshaft doesn't mean I wont give you guys tons of data.

If anyone wants to send a camshaft to me for testing I'll test a couple of them for camaro5 members & send it back. I can only do a couple of them though. I already will probably run 20 camshafts through this thing!!

Jason

What intake and exhaust lobes to you plan on using in order to keep those heavy LSA intake valves stable?

The LSA uses solid stem valves on the intake side of which weigh about 109 grams compared to the hollow stem LS3 intake valves which are 89 grams.

Why not test some cams and give no names. Just give approximate cam specs. Like testing a 211-215 intake duration and a 218 -222 duration and a 228-230ish cam. I'm less interested in tuners names and more interested in cam specs. How much lift before it's unstable. Where different durations produce peak torque. How lsa changes how far a cam can carry the torque on top end, etc.

Hey guys sorry I'm slow getting back to ya! Waiting on a few brackets from GM to run the accessories. I have the LS9 camshaft and a few other camshafts I'm working with. If you guys want to send a camshaft to test let me know, I can spare some time for a couple other camshafts.

We have proprietary lobes on most of the camshafts I've spec'd for testing. We have done extensive LS3 head engines that really like these lobes...

I want more info on the tsp crank pulley.
Will it fit a lq or ls2 crank snout?
What is the blower crank pulley diameter?
Any front pics and final price. Thanks
Subd

WEll I was about to do a ported snout and TB on my ZL1 that already had most of the mods but head read the bottom, but all the B.S about 30hp arcoss the rpm band I found out at linenfeltor it wont give you more than about 5 hp and not worth doing unless your already pulling the S/C to do a pulley so I backed out....but I am going to retune it then install a 90 ported LS3 TB on it k...

+1

And the Vmax ported TB to stock TB.
Sorry, but I have a hard time believing 30+ rwhp on a stock LSA, when the butterfly is the same size.
