You know it!

I just received the following message from a coordinator for this years SCS:

Hello TCC5,

Has anyone contacted you all about the Super Chevy Show at PBIR? If not, there is going to be a Triathlon being held as part of the event that all of your members might want to be part of. It will be a competition where particiapants will run/compete in a speed stop, autocross, and 1/4 mile passes. My name is Frank Perdomo and I will be working with PBIR to put this event on for the super chevy show. Let me know if you have more interest.

Sounds like a good time!!!!!

Exclamation 3rd Annual TCC5 Memorial Day BBQ!

Can you guys believe May is coming quick!!!

Looking for input on what's been our biggest and best event each year; our Memorial Day weekend BBQ.

We look to use the same location as Indian Riverside Park provides the following benefits :

Scenic caravan/cruise down Indian River Drive
Ample secure parking to protect our cars
Lake w sand beach
Interactive water fountains
Covered pavillions/tables
Charcoal grille
Clean restrooms
Volleyball
4 hr reservation blocks
Cheap reserve fee

We are looking for help/input/recommendations on a few details:

Date: 2011 we did Monday, which left many to work the following day. 2012 we did Sunday; worked out well for scheduling, however that conflicts with a pre planned event for Dion and probably most of Space Coast Camaro Club. DOES EITHER SUNDAY OR MONDAY (actual Memorial Day) conflict w anyone's schedule?

Food: it worked well.collecting and Krys and I buying all the supplies/food, however that left someone (Grille master Wayne) to cook... it may cost a little more; but we're looking for anyone with contacts to cater instead... suggestions?

Lastly; T-Shirts... (finally!) We may have someone to front the initial order so we can get more shirts. Couple things we looking into on that:
What design? Original? New w ZL1 from business cards? or something entirely different?
Would anyone (besides me) be interested in a dry wick or dry wick/cotton blend to breath a little better and be cooler? May cost a couple dollars more each; but our current shirts are hot. Input and any vendor ideas???

Please post your input; even if you have no solid preference either way; any ideas, input or even slight preference can make a huge difference.

ALSO NEED AN IDEA OF BBQ ATTENDEE'S for space and food quotes. Cost will be determined by number of attendees; need to get an idea ASAP.

THANX!

Memorial weekend the wife and i will be staying at the Omphoy resort in Palm Beach. Not sure how far that is from you all. If not too far, might be able to hook up for a drink or three.

Hahah Kevin!!! I do have one bug to work out. It runs/starts good, but I need to mess with the shifter cable a little. Hopefully can get it sorted out after work today. Still plan on attending.
