Remember when your old cable speedometers in the 60-70 muscle cars would start making noise???
I feel like my Camaro has inherited this trait... I also have a dash noise, just rolled over 30k this past weekend, and this is the closest thing that I can attribute the sound to... Not too worried about it, I'll just keep driving it. |

The only noise I can hear in my car at 6k rpm is WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH...
But seriously show me an Audi that can beat me for 35k. American cars build quality sucks, but you generally get more for your money, and all cars have issues.

Like I said, Im over it. You guys are right. I love my car it just pissed me off. I do have a decent exhuast, maybe that "drone" help the rattle start. And for the the Audi's, I love them. Their AWD system is just a different feel. Drove mine plenty in the mountains on wet gound and snow. The post about them having issues to is correct, also the me wanting luxuray and not sport correct. Only thing is, when you have that type of drive system and that type of build quality, it takes a little more getting used to when you go to a car like this. Yes, at WOT throttle the difference speaks for itself. And handing us our asses for 35k? Maybe not, but used, for a few bucks more offers something. Like the A5 with the V8, or the TTV6.....plus the love and knowledges of turbos I have. Anyways, thanks for not being so rough and saying it like it is. Rattle is gone for now. Back to the rough stuff.

I have managed to induce rattles in just about every car I've ever owned. It seems like subs and cars don't go well together . After a while, they'll all rattle. And like you said... now you have drone to add to it. What I have found, is replacement plastic clips with a little bit of foam will kill most interior rattles.
The only rattle in this car that pisses me off is the rear seatbelts. They just sit there against the plastic wall and rattle away.

Ive been there man, no car is perfect and Chevy build quality sucks, not trying to be hard on you just poking the bear a little. We are all car enthusiasts, and we all have different tastes.

Ya, But I like the way people say it how it is when its time to. And the car puts way more smiles than frowns on my face.

Audi is better ...
I must have misinterpreted the post title. Misleading.

He had a new rattle in his dash. How is that misleading?
Audi is better at what? Being expensive? Going slow? Looking boring? Joining rings together? Rattling their dash ? http://search.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=2816964 http://www.audiforums.com/forum/b7-m...rattle-156592/ http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...e-dash-rattles There are a million more where that came from.
