The IECC was there last sat...2/16/13...we had about 9 Gen5 Camaro's...you need to get there by 6-630am if you go as a group to find enough parking to be together.

Just FYI...

Cars and Coffee Bust

I went to attend the Cars and Coffee in Irvine this morning and was turned away I arrived at 6:00 am and they told me that they wouldn't allow anything newer than a 1999 vehicle in. Disappointing!

I headed to Huntington Beach for the Donut Derelicts car show. They are welcoming of all cars.

Guessing that Phil was turned away at the Irvine show too unless he was able to talk his way in. We'll have to find another location.

They gave me some story about Irvine not happy with the size of the meet and exhibition of speed, so they are limiting the cars to 1999 and older. I don't think this was a one off, but rather their new policy.

Got there at 6:25 and was turned away also...Told us the same shit...Went ahead and turned around and came to another guy and he let every one in...Only saw 3 other Gen5's there...I think the key is to get there @ 5:30

I'm usually there to see stuff - don't care too much about showing mine off and park elsewhere, so I've never encountered the Admittance Police.
That's not playing nice in any event - especially since it's an enthusiast gathering and not a pay and play car show.

There's a Classic car show every 1st Saturday at the Fuddrucker's in Lakewood (Lakewood Center Mall)
We could park off to the side and maybe incite some envy, grab a buger and see some classic iron.

Next event is Saturday 03/02/2013

Another Saturday alternative is a car show at Silverspur and Hawthorne Blvd in Palos Verdes CA. Starts every first Saturday at 7:30 AM, goes to 9:30 or so. We had four ZL1s there last month, including southbayZL1s. Would love to see more of us show
