D- I think just Sunday... apperantly Terry knew this last year, but no one else did. I'm thinking just Sunday for the show judging/awards, although I think Saturday is that triathalon car event if you wanted to participate...

Mike- do you have issues with water coming in from your hood scoop dumping on your intake filter? Looks like mine will have a similar set-up, and unfortunately, my car will go out (very rarely) in the rain, looks like the water can get sucked straight into the slot and dumped directly on the filter?!?!?!?!

the ram air hood is built with a thin seperation between the outer hood and inner hood...the large amout of air will turn and go back to the cai, while a small amount of air and any water which is much heavier will go thru hood and hit the back part of the ram tunnel and force its way between 1/4 gap of the inner and outer hood..and come out the large drain holes in very back of hood..just think of hood as 2 large pieces of fiberglass that have small shims that keep them seperated when put together..that is how mpd1 hood is made, i,m sure others are similar..but remember, any non add ons, can cause issues, my coilover adj knobs had to be removed, also the whipple overflow cap hit also...you should be ok, just wanted to make you think..

I'm not worried about anything under the hood. Really don't have anything that sticks out of the ordinary. Was a little worried about the tower brace; but it seemed to clear the guy in Orlando's hood; so I should be fine.

I understand the ram air vent is closed underneath; I have to cut it open otherwise water will pool inside and the vents useless. That might dump water on the filter. I'll either have to cover off part of the airbox or vent the port away from the filter. Give me a self project to do.

Gotta decide on striping options now and either all chrome or blk w chrome 6.2L replacement emblems for the cowl...

Should have some cool lighting options as well with the hood design. Wanna get an led strip inside the vent to radiate from the opening... love new toys!

def , don,t want air trapped inbetween hood with no way out, it could put a lot of stress un the bonding.. eric at mpd1 would not send out a hood that way due to possible hood blowing apart under fast sppeds causing serious windflow into ram section..def make sure you get all your answers b4 commiting...sort of opening a window during 100mph winds in a hurricane,, wind going in , needs to get out almost as quickly or things can get ugly
