While I did like the Leather/Leatherette seat I sat in quite a bit, I still went with cloth. I've got to tell you guys, even though I've only had my Camaro since the evening of the 15th, I LOVE this Cloth interior!!! In fact, I'm even reconsidering replacing the cloth door and dash panels. Unless something REALLY grabs me, I won't get rid of 'em. Before I got the car, I thought that might be the first thing I'd change...not any more. For what it's worth, I like the 1SS's rear view mirror better too.

It wasn't just the leather

It was the gauge cluster and the comm package before the leather.

I am in a bind I love the leather but do not like any of the other stuff you get from going 1SS ---> 2SS, and money is an issue.

Was considering a 2LT but I have to have the V8.

I went with the IOM leather. The leather in camaro is much nicer than the leather seats in my 06 H2 i had. With the IOM interior hoping during summer months that maybe wont get as hot as black leather does.

My personal opinion with the Cloth/Leather is I personaly like my Cloth interior in my 1SS I think cloth holds up alot better with age of the vehical, Yes its more of a pain to keep clean but theres cars around here that are 15 plus years old with cloth and its still is in good shape every older car I see with Leather its cracked or torn in someway especially the Driver seat, If you are one of those people who trade their car every 3 years Leather is better for you, If your a person that wants to hold onto the car for awhile Cloth is better in my opinion.

I agree. Plus my last 2 Camaros had cloth interior, so I wanted the upgrade this time.

For me, when I get my car, I'm going with the 2lt more for the added luxuries, hud, heater everything etc but I've always felt like cloth would be easier to wear out and would all but require covers to keep them in good shape.

plus can't get IOM interior in cloth! lol

Absolutely no offense to anybody who loves their leather interior, but I just can't do leather. It's cold as crap in the winter and hot as crap in the summer. I love my dark cloth interior in my Camaro. It's perfect for me. I love the way it looks and feels. I think GM did a great job with the cloth interiors on these cars... As well as everything else on 'em!
