I wouldn't make this my first event unless you can go out there and take it easy. The course is very small and tight and there is no room for errors. All of the other events leave you with tons of room for errors, this one has k-barriers that give very little room for error. It's a fun event if you want to just take it easy and slowly push yourself a little each lap.

I'm running run group 3 and working 4 on Saturday the March 16th and working run group 3 and running 4 on Sunday March 17th at the American Auto-X Series events in Marina in a couple of weeks.

Is anyone from the Central Valley/Norcal C5 going out to the SCCA Fresno autocross next weekend? I am not sure if I am going Saturday, Sunday or both days. I have only done one autocross so I am hoping to a little better this time.

Yes it does, the SCCA has been trying hard to attract more participates so we end up with groups larger than 200 up to close to 300.

That's the hard part. I don't want to drive from sac to fresno and only make 3 runs. They need more events closer to sac. Or more events overall.

Are you going to run the April 13th event at Mather AFB in the Sacramento area?

I want to but I don't think I can, the tread is getting really low on my tires. I can hopefully make the one after that.

The Fresno SCCA event next weekend at Castle Air Force Base is actually in Atwater which is north of Merced. A little shorter drive for you than Fresno.

When I ran the Sacramento SCCA event at Stockton fairgrounds, I think got four runs plus two more fun runs. Signed up at 7:30 am and done by 1:00 pm. Seemed to only have about 60 cars in attendance. I like that my 14 year old son gets to ride along with me.

Ya 6 runs would be awesome. I have never been before so I definitely want to have time to learn and improve.

Loading up the car and getting her ready for tomorrow and Sunday's auto-x events in Marina. I'm running in the afternoon OSP group, very tough competition this year.
