Water leaks on both door windows
I had to take my car to a (touchless) car wash last week. After being trailered here through a blizzard she was filthy (and its too cold for a hand wash).
I noticed three rivulets of water on the inside of the passenger window and two on the drivers side. My question...Is this within the range of "normal", or might I have a problem? I expected this in my '66 MGB but not in this car... Thank you! |

If you get leaks in a wind-driven rainstorm, then make a trip to your closest, trusted Chevy dealer. Others here have also noted small window leaks; they may have better advice for you than I. |

Michael is right, high pressure will force water past the seals. No worries unless you start getting water leaks during a normal rain.

Ypu, not a big deal in a touchless wash. I agree that if you see it during a rainstorm, it might be an issue...

I wouldn't worry. Keep an eye on it though.

Wouldn't worry about it in this situation. Water from a high pressure nozzle will find its way into any convertible top given the right angle. Keep an eye on the floor behind the front seats after a heavy rain. If you have leaking problems or a bad water management bag, that's where you'll usually find it.

High pressure water sprays are not supposed to be directed towards the window seal or even the top material. I think it's in the owners manual under top cleaning. Page 2-24 in the 2012 manual.
