Phastek has brembos for the 2012 SS. Only $4,133. Parts only. Depends on where you shop. Brembo kits stay around the same pricing. Not going to get into a mod part war because the camaro loses every time when it comes to pricing. Mods....way too expensive.

Hmmm, let me see.
$70-100 K plus for a Porsche.
$30k plus for a Camaro 2SS.
You can not find a cheaper sports car than a Camaro or a Corvette.
Why pay insane money for a Porsche or BMW or Mercedes when you can have the same thing but better in a Camaro.
Well good luck.
BTW you got everybody's attention!

Hmmm.... Idea... You could take the car apart and then put it back together the way you want - then it would be perfect :Chevy: Maybe.

I do agree the mods for the SS are way overpriced. It seems like just about any mod you buy unless it's a DIY is going to cost you a $100 at minimum. And that's for the cheap mods, exhaust, CAI's all are way overpriced.

I had a cam job quoted, the cost of parts/labor I could damn near buy a new crate motor.

Mods for all cars are really expensive now it seems.

Regardless, coming on a Camaro forum to bash the Camaro isn't going to yield one the best results.

I pulled over 400 WHP out of my 04 STi for under 1500 bucks. I dont know but Id like to see the numbers in getting 130 more HP to the wheels in a fifth gen.

Such a noob comment, its like you dont understand how cheaply you can up the boost on a turbo or something.

Let me guess, you had a tune, catless down pipe and a intake.....

i have owned both a 911 and a viper and i can tell you right now. skip the 911 unless its a turbo. you will be bored with that car in a month. the viper on the other hand is a great car. but if you think camaro mods are pricey??? just wait till you start modding a viper. the viper is a great car but the only ones worth a dam are the pre '99's or '06+ coupes. personally i would go with the '06 coupe just cause the 99's are starting to look REALLY dated. but you are going to pay close to $50k for one and if that is the case you shouldnt be on a camaro website in the first place.
