GM CANCELLED MY ORDER - WTF ARE THEY THINKING

Well - i got the bad news today. GM in their infinite wisdom have pulled their head out of their ass long enough to cancel my order AFTER MY CAR BEING ON ORDER FOR ALMOST 9 MONTHS - YES 9 MONTHS. You see they are closing my dealer in october 2010 but have decided that my dealer isn't capable of making a sale for GM and canceled the order for my $46,000.00 camaro after 9 months!!! That is about a couple of days salary for the GM dumb asses in the "big pants" isn't it? It is no wonder GM is bankrupt and in the toilet. I love the car but WTF are they thinking..."we don't need anymore money because Obama will bring us our binky to suck on while we collect more bonuses" Needless to say I have written this about this experience about 30 times the last couple of days on sites all over the internet - not really a waste of my time now - what is 2 -3 more hours after 9 months. I have an order number but that doesn't matter to GM anymore i guess. What a joke GM has become...

GM says because they are going to close my dealership in 16 MONTHS FROM TODAY that my dealer can't have the order we sent in in October 2008. That is what my dealer told me. Essentially my dealer cannot order anymore new cars from GM.

It's well know in this case the district manager will move the allocation to another dealer. Calm down and contact him and if you can't get in touch... then PM fbodfather or number 3...

$46k for a Camaro. Did you order everything but the first aid kit for that?

My dealer said they tried with the district manager to get just one more car (my car) but no go- it is a SOLD order for crying out loud. My dealer didn't say anything about tranfer of my order - i'll have to check with them when they open in an hour.

"then PM fbodfather or number 3". - what do you mean with this?

Sorry this happened to you. There seems to be a lot of this type of thing going on..They should have transferred it to another dealer though..

I'm sorry but . It was posted somewhere on here that GM will continue to accept orders from those dealers up to a few months before closing.

To me this sounds like your dealer is voluntarily closing early and will be closing their doors in the next couple months.
