If it was that simple the Corvette Z06 would not cost $70,000 to close to $100K.

What is up with all the speculation of the Z/28?

You would think people would be satisfied with the V6, SS, SS Special Editions (Hotwheels, Dusk, Synergy, etc...), 1LE, ZL1, and COPO variations. How many different versions do you need? Seriously?

But riddle me this then going back to my "bad" wedding analogy. If you got married in 1967, wife divorces you and leaves you 2003, and then you dont see her again until 2010 then get remarried. What anniversary would you celebrate in 2012?

I will agree to disagree on whatever else comes up on this topic, I just want to see someones answer lol
lets see, 36 years before the divorce, two more years, so 38 years of being with her, total. which is still a dumb analogy. chevrolet is celebrating 50 years from the birth of the camaro. 50 years ago, from 2017, the first camaro was created...in a marriage, most people celebrate how long they've been together...

we can try it this way. you are born in 1967...in 2002 you get put in a cryogenic chamber. you get thawed out in 2010. How old are you in 2017? lmao

An Anniversary celebrates a single event. You would still celebrate your 45th anniversary, although you would only have 37 years of marriage. We recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of putting a man on the moon although to my knowledge we didn't actually send a man to the moon every year so we could celebrate.

It depends...

Are your measuring calendar time, or...

... are you measuring the number of years of cellular degeneration on your body?

I'd say there's nothing to celebrate at all...Why would you want to celebrate the same mistake twice?...lol

So Then the 2004 GTO could have had 40th anniversary editions, if Pontiac comes back in 2026 it can celebrate with 100th anniversary models, then right?

Just to add more fuel to the fire this is on the Chevrolet facebook page:

"Chevrolet will round out the performance lineup at this year's New York International Auto Show with the reveal of the performance enhanced 2014 Chevrolet Camaro. Read more about the reveal and world premiere of the 2014 Chevrolet Performance lineup here: http://spr.ly/nyppr"

Somethings getting tweaked. LS7, LT1, LF3, God only knows...

...well "performance enhanced" could mean anything...better "performing" touch-screen, seats. brakes, whatever...

the GTO is slightly different. the 2004 GTO was just a rebadged Holden Monaro. I supposed they could have slapped 40th anniv badging all over it. They did call it a GTO, but the GTO was also only produced for 10 years, way back in 64-74. and no, they can't celebrate 100 years in 2026, because that's only 62 years. :P
