Thanks for the pics and vids, you have me overly excited for my 1LE.
Yeah he said thats a real hot car and Laguna is hard on brakes. I would like them a little firmer,im a real deep braker, but not so much as a whisper of fade, they were great all day.

I received this email from hookedondriving and am surprised that camaros aren't tracking so i told them i would see what i can do. These people have track days all over the country and we need our brand to make an impression.

Hi Mark…it was very nice to meet you at Laguna on Friday. You looked to be handling the track very well in your Camaro. I did not get a chance to talk to you at the end of the day but did want to follow up with the brief conversation we had about what HOD can do to get the Camaro groups on track more often.

As I mentioned we see a lot of Mustangs (Boss, GT, Roush, Shelby, etc) but rarely a Camaro. I would love to contact anyone or group that might have some interest in putting together a Camaro day at Laguna…."Camaro's at the Corkscrew". Any suggestions or guidance would be appreciated.

Hope you enjoyed your day with HOD and we are looking forward to seeing you again.

Nice! I wish there was better/more tracks up here. Oh well, once I get my HEO licence, I'll make my own... (Hopefully) The Boarder has never been a friendly or comfortable experience. I always feel like I wont be going home when I visit the states...

BTW thanks for all the vids! They are beyond awesome!

Mark...thanks for the nice words about HOD and you did a great job on track. Loved the videos...if anyone want to find a track near them where HOD is having an event (we are having over 100 events this year at 25 tracks) they should go to www.hookedondriving.com. Lots of information there...getting on track is easy. Doing it the first time creates sweaty palms, but then the fun begins. Questions about HOD contact me. Better yet...look at the HOD Laguna Seca schedule and pick a day.....we will make it a Camaros at the Corkscrew day.

Thanks again for the comments and hope to see you again soon.

Looks like a blast. Seems like the handling of the 1LE is very smooth and predictable. Do you have track experience? How hard were you pushing it on acceleration in the straights? You looked good out there!

I've always wanted to drive Laguna Seca. Keep us posted on the possibility of a Camaro day if they put one together.

No events in Texas.....

I'm giong to be doing my first track in about 2 weeks at Eagle Canyon Raceway. I hope to get someone to get some pics from the outside and I'm going to try to hook up a video camera from the inside. I don't have a GoPro though.

OP....you mention the brakes didn't really fade at all. Did you switch out to some DOT 4 fluid or are you still using the DOT 3 that came in the car?

Yes i used to race superbikes at the professional level.I currently race http://www.sscc.us/ and ran my 2011 1LT RS at a couple tracks, Calif speedway, Willow springs big track.I was pushing as hard as i could considering i had never been on Laguna, i did real good especially destroying those mustangs.I was only passed once by a ZR1 which i hung with, and a Porsche which i passed back in the next session. This is such a cool thing to do everyone should try it.

Very cool! That video just got me more pumped up for my event coming up. Guess I need to see if I can find someone to take some professional video as well.
