Here's something I can contribute. R1 Concept slotted/ dimpled rotors are 20.8 lbs for the front and 15.6 for the rears. Weights are courtesy of member NightRiderRS.

P.S. I posted the pictures as proof. If someone wants me to remove them to not clutter the thread, just let me know

Nice, so far I have only been able to find the R1 weights still scavanging the internet for other brands. But that is a loss of 6lbs of rotating weight, not bad I suppose.

Edit: if you upgrade to brembo fronts you can get a pair of Racing brake front rotos which weigh 18.5lbs each and if you pair them with R1 rear rotors at 15.6lbs each, you can save 10.4lbs on rotors, of course that is prob countered by the additional weight of the front brembos.

Thanks for the info (and pics) are these for V6 calipers? Or SS calipers?

And here's current brake info:

OEM Brake Weight (per wheel)
V6 Front Rotor - 22.0 lbs
V6 Rear Rotor - 17.3 lbs
SS Front Brake Rotor - 25.4 lbs
SS Rear Brake Rotor - 24 lbs
SS Front Caliper - 11.4 lbs
SS Rear Caliper - 7.4 lbs

What is the cost of these rotors compared to OEM? Can stock pads be run with them or is something else recommended?

I think the cost is about $360 for all 4? Don't remember exactly but wasn't too bad.

Does anyone happen to know the weight of the BBK headers with the hfc?

Just bought a full set from Ohio-Speed
R1 Concepts Front (SS) - 194
R1 Concepts Rear (V6) - 124
Hawk HPS Pads Front (SS) - 128
Hawk HPS Pads Rear (V6) - 72
ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid - 25

Honestly that's pretty good for under $600. Full set of cross drilled and slotted rotors and brake pads and racing brake fluid. I feel like the return on investment will be pretty good.

I'll let you guys know next month when I take the car to the drag strip and auto-x event at the Texas Camaro Revolution event.

AWESOME deal. I was looking at that same set-up, but decided I will need to wait one more year, as I can't replace brakes that are still new from the factory. I don't use them much. I am interested in hearing how they turn out for you and your thougths of this set-up pleaxe keep us posted.

Yeah...as much as I drive my car my brakes are going to last 10 years from when I bought the damn thing lol.

I don't track my car either, so I have no need for awesome braking power. I'd just want the weight savings, and whatever break pad combo doesn't leave much dust. Would the R1 rotors plus stock pads work or is that a bad combo for some reason?

It should work, but if you don't want dust and are just going to use it as a DD I would suggest Hawk ceramic pads. Same performace as the OEM pads just without the crazy dust.

I know the OBX's are in the original post...but does any one know the weight of the ceramic coated BBK'S? Rough guess is the cats are 6-8 lbs each. Wish I would've weighed mine
