Accident how much in damage?

Never made it more than 2 feet out of the drive way. Btw only a 30 mph road :/ Saw 2 cars never saw a third past the trees and waited saw the two pass then as soon as i started to pull out 1 more came rolling though. Straight through me send me though the mailbox which has a 4x4 steel hollow pole in it. Gear shifter is just floating. Coolent sprayed everywhere in the engine bay couldnt find the leak though. intake has a huge dent in it. Waiting to hear from insurance to get it towed out of the front yard and to the body shop :/. No airbags ever deployed in my car did hit my head on the door right at the window luckly windows were all open so i didnt but my head into the glass. This car seems to hold up really well in accidents from my experiances with it. Thanks chevy this probly could have hurt alot worse

Other side from going through mailbox

Just because the air bags do not mean that it totaled out the repair would to about 70% of the value of the car. If you read his post he said that the air bags did not go off.

Damn the SUV looks worst compared to your car. Camaro vs. SUV, camaro wins. Glad to see no one was seriously injured.

Glad you are ok. The damages probably less then $5000. It looks like just the front fenders a wheel and tire and maybe a door.

exactly. not sure where people get this from. and some insurance companies (I think state farm is one) repair up to 100% or replacement cost.

I think that pole did most of the damage

as for how much damage, impossible to say from the picture. there's no way of knowing what kind of damage was done to the frame, suspension, engine, or transmission. if it's just replace some panels and trim could be as low as 3k. if there's a ton of damage underneath could run over 10k. but my bigger concern would be that SUV, as it looks like it took more damage than you. if that gets totaled out, and the payout on your car is high, then your insurance rates will go through the roof. if your under 25 there's a good chance your insurance company will drop you.

having said that, glad your ok. these cars definitely seem to be able to take a beating
