Camaro 2013 steering wheel replaced with 2012's

hi guys, i just looked up 2013's steering wheel which i personally dont like very much. the 2012 wheel looks so much better, so i asked myself whether it is possible to change the wheels or not?

if no, is there a way to replace the cover with the chevy bowtie with a "camaro" cover?

The 2012 has the same wheel as the 2013. The 2010-2011 MY had the old style wheel. I'm sure it can be replaced if you find one, but I personally wouldn't try it.

oh alright... i googled it and this is what i found:

https://www.google.de/search?hl=de&q...N8egtAaQyICQAQ

about the 2013 model, is there any difference between the 2SS and the 2SS/RS models? they added a lot of RS only stuff like HUD to the 2SS, as i can tell from chevy website...

I like the older style wheel over the "generic" Chevrolet one. However, because of the air bag being on the steering wheel I doubt that anyone would recommend making a swap. If someone were to change steering wheels and the air bag would not go off, it is a guaranteed lawsuit. (and if you make the change yourself and sell your car, the next owner could sue you)

Taking out the airbag or the steering wheel is really easy. I've taken my wheel off because I had to when I installed my HUD. Taking it off isn't a big deal, just disconnect the battery, and wait 15 minutes before taking it out. Then once everything is back together, reconnect the battery, and if no warning lights come up then you are good
