Brembo bite
Just finished giving the other woman a nice bath. She's looking real good now especially after last week's snow/salt/mess. I typically wash the wheels well and clean the inside and behind the spokes with a sponge. This invariably results in my hands making contact with the rotors. You can see the finished product below. So I'm at work a couple of weeks ago meeting with a woman that I don't see too often. During our conversation I observe her eyes darting between mine and my hands. An involuntary look of horror starts to develop on her face. I realize that she's looking at my hands and tell her it's okay. I'm not involved in some after-hours fight club or something. My hands are chewed up from washing my wheels. I don't think she fully believed me. Anyway, I'm giving it an official name now. It's called Brembo bite.

Do you not wear vinyl gloves when detailing?
Or did you get cut through that? -> Still shows the extent a guy will go to keeping his Car clean! Props to ya! |

It's a Dingledarm. It's there to dampen side fumbling. If your marzelvanes fumble too much they can cause total protonic reversal. It gets ugly from there. This is really the biggest problem with the new Camaro. That and the tri-pronged blivot.

Brilliant! I have a box of disposable nitrile gloves for epoxy work. The thought never even crossed my mind. Thank you! I'll give it a try.

Woollies are really good for tight to reach spots. Also invest in a good boars hair wheel and fender brush along with APC. It'll get all that hard to reach brake dust and not tear up your hands.
Here one the I uses on my stock 2010 rims http://www.autogeek.net/20inbrmoorbo.html

Battle scars from big brakes, gotta love 'em!
As the guys mentioned, check out our Wheel Wollies and our Turbostick. You'll never have Brembo Bite again. Your knuckles will thank you.
