Remember the drastic change between 1969 and 1970 Camaro.
The Mustang actually looks better of the two, but I hope these Muscle cars don't go Euro. I like Euro designs, but these are American Muscle cars... not European sports cars.

The Corvette has been Euro "Inspired" for a while now so

Also they'd better not ****ing put the Camaro on Zeta again. That would be a bigger **** up than bankruptcy (not literally).

All that stuff does not weigh THAT much. Shit I could lose 100 pounds and gain more performance than adding all that to my car...

I agree maybe a track car wouldn't want all that. But for us DD Camaro owners who don't race professionally...

Actually a Cadillac wouldn't be bad as a daily driver.
I do plan to get a New GMC once my Camaro is paid off, and the new 2014's will have all that, so I'm not really THAT concerned, I just brought it up because if the Camaro does not eventually start to offer those things, what is the point in buying a new Camaro? Might as well buy a 1st-5th Gen and do what you want with it. Much cheaper than buying the latest and greatest just to have the same features the 5th Gen has in it...
A Camaro is a value priced sports GT. if you start adding all the fluff you'll be getting up to BMW, Mercedes, etc.

It has, but it is a "Sports" car. Not just a "Muscle" car. The Camaro has always been a burly bulging Muscle car.

Yeah who knows, I've read they were talking about putting it on the same platform as the Cadillac ATS, which is Zeta II? I don't recall for sure.

Yes it is, and those features can be had for less than 50K easy... Also that is who GM is trying to compete with. I don't recall who but it was stated they are trying to bring the Camaro into the same league as BMW. Again what is the point in bringing a car into the 21st century and leaving it's features in the 20th? Wires and some microchips and a few more sensors is hardly going to kill the weight to power ratio, especially if they make the next gen overall lighter.

I just want the G6 to be affordable by the masses. Someone shouldn't have to make $80-$100k to afford a nice Camaro.

The Cadilac ATS, and the future 6th Gen are on the Alpha platform. THe Zeta is what we're rolling on today.

Sounds like they need to start making a Berlinetta for you...

Just kidding!

For those that really need glasses........

This is Ford show car believed to be next Mustang, notice the resemblance to their design theme, focus and fusion, definetly much more European. Chevrolet made a drastic design change in 1970 with the Camaro from the 1967 to 1969 models. Was reviewed as very European ferrari-like, obviously this would not be the direction of the update, but a throwback 1969 look verses a Ford with this look will be debated until the new 2016 Camaro appears. As my first car was a 1970 I like the orange Camaro pictured because it keeps the evolution and separate grille/ headlights that continued from 1970 thru 2002.

Ah that's right Alpha, I was worried I had them flip flopped haa.
As in this?

It's a beautiful car, but I don't want the Camaro to look like this, the Vette already does and that fine.

I could be pressured into driving around in that Ferrari.

2014 Camaro is at the top of my list so looking forward to seeing the changes before placing an order.

If Ford doesn't make this stang, I think that would be a huge mistake. That rendering looks fantastic!
