Can 315s fit on a 20x9.5 rim??

315s fit fine but the I would not put a 315 on anything less than a 10 IMO and even a 10 is small. Ideal is 11. If you try to stretch a tire that much its much more than performance loss it could be down right dangerous.

Correct 315s will fit with 11 inch wide wheels. But I second the idea that 11 is the minimum I would use to slap 315s on this car....That is my plan for late this year.

It is my plan as well. Darn tires are costly with now 315s on the wifes car and 345s on mine...LOL

So what size do you think?
Yesterday i measured and there is 13.75" in the rear so if you can get a 3 1/2 " lip and a 8" back rim you may be able to run 315 but if not you will have to get the car frame cut 1'" like in the old days that way we get almost 15" in the rear but i will get a 315-325 in this car.

I know it is a visual and ego thing to get the biggest tires possible. this may be good for drags, but we are finding it actually hinders handling. the Camaro has a big time understeer issue, and doing big tine split configured wheels, will increase understeer and reduce handling, especially if you are sticking with OE suspension.

With that said, 315s can be shoe horned into the rear, making sure you do not go too fat with the wheels. Maybe a 11 to 11.5 max wheel. I know with a 49 offset, you will get some rub, even removing a bunch of the inner plastic fender, and reducing cambers. Maybe a 39-40mm offset may help. But one of the issues is lowering the vehicle with these big meats and being able to set up the suspension for killer handling. For great looks, improved handling, the Camaro needs to be dropped about 1.0 to 1.5 inches or so. This will add to handling more than adding tire.

Thanks but i new that, If you ask "Deb Basica" you will see that i ordered your camaro Xas in December, And am still waiting for them, and this car is going to be lowered 2 in the rear and 1.0 to 1.5 in the front.
As for visual and ego thing i think i am in good company, But all J/K aside if i go with 275 up front and 315 in rear that is not a big tine split configured setup and did your company not know that this car has understeer issue's is that not why you have your setup.

Without the Xas the split configurations will cost you maybe .2 to .3gs on a skid pad.

I dropped the the one Camar with 315s, 60mm and had some serious rub, even after cutting the inner plastic out, over bumps. Do you know the rear offsets of the wheels you are getting?

mike, im wanting to run your coilovers and 315's in rear. what offset will be needed as ive pretty much already ordered wheels.

Not at this time am working with COR and as of Friday not looking good going to try a different offset, If you want send me a pm, How about cutting the inner frame of the car to get 1+ in more on the inside like the old day.
That is the space of the inner plastic to the wheel tub.
