Awesome Turn out on Day 1 of Rate that Mod. Ill Keep track of all the mods that are rated so you can see how they compare up to all the others that have been rated. I also want to say that when applicable I will try to use pictures and videos to represent the mods in question just to give people an idea of what the mod is like if they do not already know. I pull these at random either from Google or Youtube. If you find that i have used something you submitted and want me to take it down please let me know and I will immediately!

As for yesterdays results, Total comes out to...

Anvil Notched Spoiler: 9.21

Now for today's mod. Good ol' muffler delete for the V8. Some hate it since it sounds to unrefined. I personally was really pleased with it. I absolutely love the sound of the decel pop on deceleration. Also there is very little drone associated with it. On top of that depending on where you go you can have it done for as little as $60 dollars! If I had to complain about one thing about it though it would be the volume. I honestly thought it was going to be alot louder then it was. Ah well nothing LT Headers can't solve!

Anyways my score for Muffler Delete for the V8 is a nice

Having this personally, adding in the bang for the buck value, I'm gonna give it 10/10.

I thought this would be all in one thread and you would just edit the title daily...

By far this (muffler delete) has to be one of my favorite mods... I like the way it made the car sound unfinished, like it was in the middle of some rebuilding project. When I added the long tubes the sound produced at idle was the cause of extended warm ups. "When are we going?" "Soon, the car has to warm up first."

I honestly thought about that but wasnt sure how to go about it. Figured it would be easier just to make a new thread. Unless someone shows me its easier to edit just one mega thread

ask a mod they can combine the two threads.

10/10 I have it and love it. Left on the resonators and have no drone that I can detect. Looks cleaner from the back too. I'm LS3 though. I've heard the auto guys can't do this mode without nasty sound from the AFM (or whatever it's called)

very true but there may be a new device coming to the market that could solve L99 afm issues without voiding the warranty and tuning!

I have Muffler Delete also and love the sound, Best mod for the money.

Sorry, not a fan, but I'll give it a 7.5 anyway because it's still a Camaro and sounds a hell of a lot better than a truck with a hole in the muffler.

10 out of 10 for my Solo J-Pipe axle backs.
They are muffler delete and sound great on my L99.
