In the past have any of these "refreshes" included a different engine?
All the 3.6TT and LS7 talk has most people on the edge of their seat. I havent seen anyone jumping up and down about a slightly differernt look.

History repeats itself, kinda curious about the past on this one.

Refresh 1969:

Second Gen 1970:

Refresh 1974:

Third Gen 1982:

Refresh 1991:

Fourth Gen 1993:

Refresh 1998:

Great post, exactly why I am expecting. Although I am still holding out hope for a Z28.

From history engine additions or deletions rarely had anything to do with refreshes, they can happen anytime, even with the 5th gens, in 2012 they added the ZL1, new motor. 2012 the LFX a motor upgrade. So refresh does not necessarily mean a new motor or model even. But saying that, there is nothing to say it won't happen either.

Sadly that raises more questions than answers. Only father time will tell!!
It would be nice if there were some new additions in the engine relm just to add some more flavor to an already awesome car!!

It all comes down to no matter what you say on this subject there will be those that believe and those that don't, it doesn't matter which side you are on.
All we can do right now is wait and just hope you get what you want.
If anyone wants to know I hope those saying that the ttV6 and LS 7 and the Z28 coming out are right, but the odds are not real good.

Oh if they do I'll be the first to admit I was wrong, and my dealer was talking out his ass... How's that?

I would think a Z28 would be an expected..and very cool 'refresh'.. I don't think there will be any major styling changes..suspension / wheel and engine package..different spoiler..something like that?

I disagree, i dont think they would change anything on the ZL1 this early, and that would be too confusing, I think if they were to use this is would go on the SS. its different enough from the zl1 yet styled enough like it to work.

There are options out there and other companies achieve better HP ratings on smaller displacement engines but we are OK with settling on "what is available" I did pay to play when I bought my SS back in early '09 and being and R6P car I purchased it without seeing one in person because I WANTED it and I could. I think it is time to step up the game and GM has with the addition of the LT series motors. That would be my choice for the engine in this car, and yes it would be more expensive, but putting an out-dated LS7 in the Camaro just to say my D*$k is bigger than yours is absolutely dumb. Spend the money, pull it into your garage and mod it yourself, get to know your tools, change the cam, change your own oil..you'll have the satisfaction of you're own success and an awesome performing car...that's how I grew up.

Really???

The question is; will GM for the first time let a Camaro generation go by without a Z28?
