Key Fob buttons fell off

I have a question for everyone out there. On both of my fob's my buttons have torn/ripped off. I wish my phone would allow me to take pictures to show. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Will I have to fork out big money for new ones or is there some other way to get just the top portion of the key fob?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Do you have a warranty? That also may be covered if you ahve the bumper to bumper.

No warranty anymore and no my dog didn't get to them. The rubber just gave way around both of them. I use either my pen or my handcuff key to hit the black buttons to lock/unlock my car.

buy something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/13500221-CHE...355702&vxp=mtr and just use the rubber buttons and put it in your key fob

I have nothing useful to contribute, I just want to ask why you don't use your fingers to push the buttons. It seems that using the small tip devices you have are what caused the damage

I'm sitting here looking at my keys and I can't imagine. I think you're screwed. You may have to purchase a whole new key. Maybe try eBay?

This is the best i got. Link

Manual link

Not sure if that helps. I don't know, is there a difference between years?

to answer your question the reason I can use my fingers is because the button you have to push is about a quarter of an inch down and I cannot fit my fingers in there I doubt if anyone could ever fit the fingers if I could take pictures and post them on her I would everyone would understand.

Most likely. May be your cheapest option. Or you can swing by the dealership

It's odd that both of your keys did that.

I'm suprised the pivot mechanism hasn't fallen apart on mine because there's a 100% guarantee that if I'm holding my key or my hand is in my pocket, I'm flicking that button and opening and closing my key repeatedly... dunno why... bad habit?

after get new keys. get one of these for them:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Silico...f35107&vxp=mtr

protects the key

I have to agree with how difficult they can be to push, just something you have to learn and get used to.
