I love it. It's a style just like anything else. Sort of like the reverse of restoring an old car. Un-storing (?) a new car!

I like it...but I wouldn't do it to my car. It's very original and unique. It takes talent to properly accelerate the age of a car's finish.

Like the EVH Frankenstein guitar or SRV's vintage strat for example. ![]() ![]() What is cool about those items is a skilled luthier (guitar builder) spent long hours painstakingly recreating every conceivable detail on a replica with the real guitars right there for him to get everything exactly right. They are hugely expensive (the Frankenstein was $25,000.00) and the original instruments are as famous as the songs that were played on them. For a car though it would have to be a famous/notorious race car or movie car. However to "vintage out" a real car is ridiculous. Doing it just for the look is strange to me. |

he then opens the trunk, put his teeth back in, pulls at a banjo, an sings you a story about it.

Really can't say, since I didn't actually hear it running.
The only time I saw it running was when it went by us in that picture. Windows up with AC on, cruising down the interstate. We were in Florida close to the Georgia line and it was hot.
