Broke my rear end

Finally broke in my twin disk clutch and decided to test it out I did a 3500-4000 drop and bam. Limped it back to the house with a clicking noise. I figured I broke a cv on an axle. Pulled the axles they seam ok but the diff is still bound up. I must have chipped a tooth or two on my ring and pionon. I thought the axle would break first.

Has any one else done this?

FYI this is on my 2010

I broke 3 stock diffs.
All were broke the same way. Spiders gears went to pieces.
I would bet you busted the spider gears.
Nothing is bullet proof with the weight of these cars.
If you can get the tires to hook with a manual car.
Your gonna break something.
I shattered a lingenfelter 9.5 inch rear back in November.
It only had 6 passes on it.

Compleatley stock. Does the JRE mod increase the strength of the spider gears?

What's the best option for a stronger posi? I don't have 6k right now to spend on a 9in. Does the JRE mod increase the strength? Or would a true track Detroit locker be better? It is a steet driven daily driver.

You crushed your posi. Eaton makes a truetrac that is much stronger. The JRE mod does nothing for the strength, only clutch holding capacity

Yup sounds familiar. Unfortunately cars don't care how much money we have. I ended up doing the the whole DSS thing. It's expensive but it's pretty much bulletproof. Just broke it in this month. It does what it's supposed to do, lays the power down. The hammer head is big bucks I looked into it. I know it's not what you want to hear but the DSS conversion is a very good option.
