Pair of metal core high flow cats. Headers, 3" exhaust, intake yielded 562whp with a tune. Plenty fast for me..

No cats and a tune all by itself on these cars can be worth 25-35 hp with zero mods...

I can understand that but look at TripleblkZL1 at he's also increased boost, P&P and added a larger throttle body, added hi-perf injectors and that only nets him an extra 18rwhp?? That seems like a lot of $$ for 18hp no??

580 advertised is at the crank, he has that at the wheels.

Yeah man im at 580 rwhp.. that's with a 91 octane tune. I think that puts me around 650 crank but thats just a guess

Anyone dyno with or without cats???

Next time I'm on the dyno I'm Gunna try car delete pipes

On a SS it yielded 3-5 hp
I'm wondering if that would be more on the zl1

I was thinking the Exhuast would be obnoxious without cats
But with the stock Exhuast with the mild switch on
It may be ok
It b sick on the wild side
