Seems the SS will lose the mailslot. Interesting, I wonder if vents/intakes will be placed elsewhere. Just hope they're functional this time.

Wow that looks a lot more dramatic than I expected out of a mid-cycle refresh. Grill looks narrow, leading to new headlights? Can't wait to see what else was changed.

Just guessing, I think the new SS hood will have a version of a air extractor hood similar to the ZL1 or new Stingray.

I will wait to see the whole thing, but as of now I am not liking it.

In your opinion, (without of course giving away more teasers about the refreshed camaro) do you like the new styling of the refreshed 2014 SS?

I'll answer your question with one of my own......

Have you been disappointed by the style of the 5th gen? Overall - and knowing that it's still number one in the segment --

....--let's take a walk down memory lane, shall we - to oh - -2008.......since day one, there's been all sorts of concerns about the style of the car - I distinctly remember the first pics of the white car in a garage in europe - very grainy - I think we may have had several hundred grab their chests in horror - and we may have even had a few keel over...............and then there was this 'lil debacle:

.........and then there was the "...omg - the SS fascia is horrible - everyone's gonna rip theirs off and affix a V6 to their SS....."

............and then the B-pillar............

Now - knowing all the "Panics-du-Jour" - what do you think?

Now - with all that said - while I may appear to be (on this site) Chevy's biggest cheerleader - rest assured that I'm very outspoken....the members of Team Camaro are all outspoken and sometimes there's lots of banging on the tables/desks -- because there is such passion for this car --- remember, we live, eat, and BREATHE this car --

.........and I can honestly say that I love the 2014. I really do. At one point, there were many of us in a room at Design - and someone said to me - "WELL? you've been rather quiet!" And I simply responded: You know if I didn't like something, I'd be all fired up.....I love what I see. All of it.

I think you will, too.

Am I the only one who liked the mailslot? The V8 needs something so when you see it coming you know its an SS...ala mustang pony lights...and I feel like the mail slot was nice and subtle and overall looks better. Whenever I look at V6 fascias it always looks like somethings missing to me

Prove your love to the 2014 and give it an early debut
