Best outdoor car cover?

Hello,

Delighted with the new Camaro, saddened that for the first time in my car-owning life I don't have a garage or carport to house my car. :/ The good thing is that I can garage it during the workday when the hellacious heat hits for ten months or so of Texas summer...

For at home/overnights, I'm thinking of getting a good quality cover. Ideally it would be hail-resistant and have no possibility of scratching the paint, but I know I'm probably dreaming. This would be for nightly on/off rather than long-term storage.

Any suggestions, experiences, or caveats?

Weathershield HP or HD? I was debating about making that jump from the Noah. What are you looking to protect from mostly? Will this be a nightly cover deal? Curious how your experience has been. Any scratches??

I got the HP for my car. Living in PA was looking to protect against rain, snow and ice. With dust guards and a little extra tying down, the cover does not move at all when it may be windy so I don't expect any scratches. Will let you know when I take it off here in a few weekends.

Dallas does your place have room for a portable shelter?

We are selling out house this spring and my camaro will be in a two cr garage. But I bought my car in Dec, so I bought a shelter logic 20' x 10' shelter. I paid 249.99 on sale. It's concert lag bolted into my paved drive way. Best money I ever spent.

Protects aginst Water, snow, ice, hail and wind. There is even enough room to work on it. The only thing I did was put some nerf foam on the poles so when he door opens I have zero chance for any accidents. I have a vert and there I enough room to raise/lower the top inside the shelter. And it's about the Same price as a good cover.
