Good luck with the rest of your tour. I'm a former Army officer; put in 10 yrs but got out well before the wars in that crap hole and Iraq.
I used to live in Eastgate also but have lived in Burlington, KY for the last 12 yrs. I go over to visit my daughter over there fairly often.

Thanks. I'm almost done. I'll be back in Cincy this yr. How did that shop do with your hex vents? I'm gonna do my own, but I'd like to see if that place is worth it if I decide to let a shop do it.

For only $100 total (and they had a couple guys working on it for the duration) they did a good job. My main paranoia was cutting the holes but after watching them do it I'm convinced I could have done as well or better, honestly. If I had it to do over I would do it myself and saved $100 in the process.

Indeed. I bought my house back in 2008, but I've pretty much been gone between Iraq and Afghanistan since then.

Yea the videos on Steve's website make it look very easy. I'll do mine when I'm back. Looking forward to doing this mod.

I don't have a C5 anymore, but I have a corvette and a 2nd Gen Camaro.

you'll catch me down in Cincinnati at the Cars and Coffee 8 am to noon at the FUEL COFFEE HOUSE ON THE RIVER 2726 Riverside Drive

I'm also at all the Cincinnati Autocross Events: http://cincyscca.com/autocross/

We still have random get togethers sometimes. Not too long ago a bunch of us met to go bowling in Dayton among other events.

Friday Night Lights at Edgewater has a few camaros at it too. Anyone know when they start up again?

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

I really don't mean to sound anti-social but I just have alot of other stuff going on usually and not too much extra time to just hang out. But, having said that, I would be interested in finding out about local car shows and Camaro meet-ups so I could go once in a while as time permits to see what others are doing with their Gen 5's, etc.

Don't worry. I feel the same.
