SMH on the SS' slot, Ant!
Don't forget we ALL have fake gills in the quarters... so that argument is moot.

yea fish gills that if i had the time i would fill them in but they dont bug me really and that would be closer to the truth if they had little vents in them that did nothing

GM has had a long history of non-functional vents or hood scoops... I had them on my stock '70 GTO before. No biggie, all aesthetics.

There are several ppl on this thread that have quarter panel vents. I'm sure you could make the gills functional though. Remember, the 1969 Camaro had fake gills.

I'm not digging the heat extractor on the '14. It looks way out of place !! And the taillights arent grabbing me either. I would prefer 4 individual ones.

Somewhat tacky, almost like an afterthought. Obviously, the ZL1 extractors are light years better. Even the aftermarket hex vents look good but maybe Chevy didn't opt for that since it mimics the current Mustang's bi-vent extractors. BUUUUT, let's see in person... I'll reserve my final/personal opinion once I see the '14 in flesh.

And to add... a cowl present in the 5th gens that aren't functional neither. All for style or hood clearance purposes. It works!
