I read somewhere ages ago that the guy who designed the 2010 Camaro was poached by VW. Either way, there are some definite 'misses' in this refresh, which I was worried about... including, but not limited to those taillights. OMG I'm so upset with those. You can tell it's a Camaro from 500 yards... this will just blend in and look like the red blobs all cars have. :( Glad I pulled the trigger on a 2013.

I like my 2012 better it looks more like the 68! He new one kinda looks like what ford did to the mustang.... Trying to redesign it just doesn't work for me! But glad I bought mine when I did!

Not only the tail lights. Look at the rear license plate area. It is now totally different and looks so unattractive compared to the original design. The rear bumper is bigger now.

It's a test bed for styling cues for the 6th Gen. If it flops then they still have time to change the 6th gen back to something more like what we have now...
That's what I am going with....

I guess I will wait for some better shots from the Auto show tomorrow. Like most others here the front end is ok but I am not feeling those taillights.

Positives: Functionable heat extractor, the bigger lower grille, and the spoiler

Negatives: the tail lights, the smaller upper grill, the chrome nose trim, the missing mail-slot, the black rear bumper, and the fact that he said the automatic had 426HP

Conclusion: I'm glad I have a 2010 2SS but I wouldn't HATE having a 2014
