I'm sure that's why so many on here are so butt hurt over the new design ,but who cares. These things will sell just fine. I'm really excited to see what the ZL1 is going to look like.

Yeah, too bad they couldn't wait one more day for the reveal because the Jag really did make the Camaro an afterthought. The sap who allowed this more than likely already got a talking-to today.

I don't believe the Camaro would have made near the comeback it did with that rear end. If they'd have wanted to get toward the 2nd, 3rd and 4th gens, they could have wrapped the lights a bit and triangled them, but these lights look out of place and not suitable for the Camaro. Shame because the demonic look of the 5th gen tail lights is one of best features.
I agree with this completely

As many said front is cool, back how ever looks like crap. I mean the new Malibu looks tougher from the back.

Front end looks too Mustangish to me.

Agreed. That hood vent looks terrible and cheap, it should at least be painted to match the car but I think they should have changed the whole thing to something like the 03-04 mustang cobra hood, as much as I hate to say it that was a nice hood. I don't think the rear of the car looks to bad and it looks like it will be a bigger trunk opening, you might actually be able to fit a set of golf clubs in it.

no, by all means, everyone's opinion is appreciated. If this was my 1rst buy, I'd be excited..majority repeat 5th customers may not..So long as it sells, and sell well, fooling me to think otherwise.
..rather anticipating what the v6 model will look like(in person)..

I kind of like what I see. I am however not going to miss the mail slot. That thing to me made the SS look cheap. Will wait for official photos tomorrow.

Trunk opening will be the same size.

I see SLP selling lots of body kits. Personally I think they should have moved the SS toward the T3 style. Maybe they will just leave the ZL1 alone since it is only a 1.5 year old design. They also spent a lot of time refining its aerodynamics.

The front looks okay. Definitely growing on me a bit since I first saw the photos. I really need to see it in person to form a full opinion with the chrome lip (I still don't really understand the point of adding that to the mix). The hood vent...meh. Looks kind of cheap to me...almost like an afterthought even, though I do appreciate the functionality of it. I also like the DRL ports and the lower grill that looks like it was borrowed from the Leno Camaro.

The brake lights...wow. All bad. I wish they had kept the same basic shape that they are on the current 5th Gens and "refreshed" them somehow without giving them the "Euro" look. I would mod those in a hurry.
Yeah, the vents are meh. Too bad the you can't add the Hex Vents to this version of the car now. I mean, I honestly think the hex vents are a bigger bang for the buck because you can remove the rain guards to allow more direct heat dissipation than OEM since it has to be designed for a larger array of environments.

I'm thinking they left the twin vent design alone since it's on the current Mustang and Steve Hines already owns an exceptional design... Would GM be afraid of patent infringement?

i just hope the rear end doesn't look fat like the challenger, the picture doesn't show it well. to me the back of a car is as important as the front. but ill find out first hand when im at the show tomorrow.

What whole story tomorrow number 3? No other badge or power increases would make me want this car unless it came in a box with a new hood, front and rear fascias and rear spoiler!! There was a hundred different things they could have tweaked or modified, and mostly all of us are saying the same thing..top grille too small, heat extractor too small and cheap looking and well there's the rear...nothing good about that!!
