I've still been happy with mine so far. I haven't done any Auto-X with them yet but have drag raced. My times at the drag strip were about the same as with the Perelli tire.
My car is 90% daily driver. The price was right for me and if I can get more than the 11k miles out of these than I did with the Perelli then I don't mind giving up a little performance (if there is any). I'm hoping to not have to drop $1k every couple years on tires.

Tires?
Has anyone tried the new Cooper Neon RS3-S tires? They have really good reveiws and they actually come in the same size and load ratings as the stock tires.
245/45 20XL 103Y Front and the 275/40 20XL 106W The Invo 245/45R 20 Is only load rated 99W and I was told I cannot use that on the Camaro. I was told I need a tire with the same or greater load rating to avoid overheating and blowout risk? I like the BFG G-force Sport Comp-2's but nobody has them or the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110's? You can get either the front or rear but not a complete set? I would love to use the NT-05's but they don't even make a 245/45 20 for the front? ![]() I need to buy tires and have NO IDEA what to get for a sticky sporty summer tire for the stock rims! Help!

They sell both...check tire rack or a BFG dealer near you...Try the Zeon's too...the tread wear is not as good as the BFG's..I was going to go with them but decided on the BFG due to it running wider than the perelli

BFG makes a 275/40 ZR20 part #82193 on their website but NO BODY has them?
I can find the 275/40 ZR20 part #25597 but that is only a 102W load rating? That's 220lbs per wheel less than the 106W. How come no body has the other one, and some act like they don't know what I'm talking about? I told them to go the BFG website and see for themselves ![]() At the bottom of the page you will find the tech specs and it is the last one #82193 WTF Tires have never been this freaking hard to find ... No body wants My money ![]() http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-...techspec_table

I'm running 275/40-19's. A full set for a 20" wheel should be under $1k.

I agree, I want the BFG comp 2's. I just cannot find the 275/40R20 in the XL version as shown on their website. To get the correct load rating for the Camaro I need the 275/40R20XL part #82193. I can get the XL version for the front but not the rear?

Well my G-Maxs lasted 15K miles. Not to shabby for me. I just orderd a set of the BFG's for the rear and will get them put on tomorrow. Will be interesting to see how they compare.
Friend of mine has a GTO and said he had a hard time breaking them loose. So maybe the Bee will be a little quicker if she quits spinning them. |

Which BFG's did you get? If I can't find the 275/40ZR20XL, I think I will go with the new Mickey Thompsons that just came out?

Ok....going to post a real world experience with my BFGs.
When I had Perelli tires I could turn off all the nannies, go find an closed road area, rev up the motor, dump the clutch, and hammer it. It would fish tale big time....sometimes getting border line on being too much. That's alot of fun but not so good when you want to hook and go. This also one of the reasons my Perelli only lasted 11k miles....but I had fun. Fast forward to today with a set of BFGs......I took a friend for a ride in my Camaro last night, turned off the nanny controls, and try to get to fish tale and try to show off. I had a hard time doing it. I could get the car to get a little squirrely but nothing like the Perelli did. I was slightly embarressed as he could tell I was really try to get it to go sideways but had to suck in the clutch a couple times to get it to do about 1/4 of what it used to. The good thing is that in reality thats what you want it to do. Now, that's not Auto-X or Road Racing....just drag racing style of driving. I'm still alot much more happy with my BFGs than the OEM Perelli tires.

Finally got some tires on my polished 20" wheels and replaced the stock 18's. I was looking for the best price Hankook V12's or BFG or whatever in staggered config. I ended up getting what I consider a steal on BFG Comp 2's from the local Firestone dealer. They had a web price on the Firehawk Oval's $150 front ea and 170 rear each. When I went and talked to them, they were out of stock on the Firehawks (which is good, because I really don't care for Firestone), but said they would match the price with the BFG Comp 2's and since they were having a grand opening, they gave me another $100 off. I had them remove the TPMS from my stock 18's put them in the new 20's and remount the 18's so I could try to get a few bucks back on them. Total out the door with taxes $630! They sound slightly louder than the stock 18's with the radio completely off, but with it on like I usually drive, I can't notice. They seem pretty sticky, but I need to work them in a little before I make any firm judgement. Pretty happy with the deal tho!

smoking deal!
Still no issues with mine but I've only put on about 4k miles so far. Hope to track my car next month so we will see how that goes.
