Glad they finally brought back the Z28 and they kept the race inspired concept 100% correct, but there is no reason this could not have come out for the current design. While the new design has some good elements, I think the previous generation is all-in-all the better looking vehicle. The '11 SS is staying in my garage.

They did get rid of the reverse lights most could do without. I see elements of this design that proves they're listening to our feedback.

Anyone else notice the Chevrolet Performance badge under the hood of the Z28?

Still not seeing any stripes yet in any of the marketing materials.

Appearance wise is exactly as we've seen it in yesterday pictures, still don't like it. Z28 looks a bit better as it has some additions to stand out from SS (much nicer wheels, paint job..) and of course the new engine will weigh in a lot to Z28 and race track fans. Z28 will sell great, not so sure about the SS... Taillights still looks like a Prelude, can't get the Prelude rear out of my mind...

We are excited. I own both a Camaro, and a Mustang. Im a hard core ford guy though always have been always will be, but i have a love for all american cars! I love my Camaro just as musch as my Mustang. I love them both for diffrent reasons though. Im excited because i wanna see more stripped down performcae cars like this. This will be a bad ass car. Im also excited to see what Fords next move is. |

I freakin' LOVE the taillights. From the side, they evoke third- gen, with the down-spiked triangle visible. If I could convert mine to the new design without having to do more cosmetics than a lifetime of Joan Rivers, I'd be all over it. Looks like I might just need to buy the 5 1/2th gen. It is so full of win that it will probably leave spots of win on the driveway as it bubbles out and perpetually spills win.

After seeing professional pictures, the front and rear do not look bad at all, just smaller and sleeker. The LED tail lights should look very distinctive at night. You will know it is the new Camaro.
This car would pop in a nice blue, like Kinetic Blue or the Corvette's Laguna Blue.

"At all four corners, the lightweight, forged aluminum wheels are wrapped in massive 305/30ZR19 tires. This is the first production application of ultra-high performance Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires, and believed to be the widest front tire on any production car."
that is pretty impressive

I think from the side the front definitely has a more aggressive look to it
