Manual transmission only. You really have to drive that thing , no steering wheel holders.

I believe the 2014 ZL1 front will be same as 2013 and the rear will match new 2014 styling...either way ZL1 Done in 2014 I fear!!!

Good to see they brought the Z28 back and as a track car with few amenities. I will keep my ZL1 with the auto. The ZL1 still has more HP.

Is it me or does it look like a matte white finish on the car that was unveiled at the show? Look closely at the photos in the z28 section from Becky. If so will there be matte finish options for 2014 ZL1's and other models too?

The new Z-28 is nice and I like the LS7 engine
BUT
I like my ZL1 Convertible better

I like creature comforts, 580 HP, looks and handling

Yeh it does have more horsepower but 300 pounds is a significant drop in weight . And also a 3:91 gear ratio it's about the setup not the horse power . That cars gonna have great top end .

I would not want matte. Way too hard to take care of. Ask a lot of exotic owners.

I was curious of that myself. Although the new Benz's come in a few different matte colors from the factory and I couldn't imagine they would produce a paint finish that would be hard to maintain with their finicky clientele.

I work for Audi and the finish is all the same. We have an MB dealer next to us. You cannot buff or wax. Washing it you have to use a different process. Trust me its a pain in the @$$. I've had a lot of R8's come through with it. While it looks cool some are reading out into regular paint.

exactly right . The new z/28 lives up to its heritage and the ZL1 is a bloated "street cruiser"? Thanks GM!

I really fail to understand some of these posts. Here's the beauty of it. You can sell your ZL1 if what you want is a true track machine.

There will be little difference on the street and the ZL1 may have a slight advantage street light to street light.

Two totally different uses.

Just remember a dedicated "track car" gets a bit uncomfortable as a daily driver. Ask the owners on here that have one. I will keep my A/C, Nav and other comforts in my ZL1. Just remember you can also "track" the ZL1!

I don't know. Not really feeling the 2014 look.
I still say ZL1.
