Michael Bay said that he wasn't interested in doing a 3rd one. Hopefully he changes his mind...or at least lets someone else pick up where he left off.

Now that they brought the "they've been around for centuries" storyline...they could throw in the dinobots.

I did the transformer logo on my steering wheel on my Solstice, and bought them from these guys and it is one piece. Nice thing is, he makes the logo's himself and can make them in custom sizes. That way if you want to get one for the steering wheel center, there will be no gaps. I tried the E-Bay ones first, but they didn't fit as good.

Well dont fret LadiesMan Bay actually just said he wasn't intersted in doing another one right away. He wants to take year off and then come back and do another one. He was blasting the press for twisting his words apparently, but hopefully on the 3rd installment theres no cheesy twins lol

I had the center covered in black Alcantera and the outer done in perforated leather. That total was $300 and the logo was another $20. I did the install myself.

Yeah, those are the same ones I got. I just couldn't find a spot for them that I was happy with.

Looks p retty sweet in there LadiesMan hows the quality of the decal itself? Do you think its durable enough to go on the hood? I got great news today, they are building my car next week! Said it should be in by the end of the month beginning of August so Im extremely stoked! Pretty soon I get to be a local celeb in that car just like the rest of ya lol Man I saw TF2 again last night on a genuine Imax screen, the visuals were absolutely amazing especially the full size Imax shots with Devastor, plus I think TF is gonna have another big week at the BO b/c both the 7 and 10 o'clock showings on Imax were completely sold out!

They are a lot thinner than I was expecting but they should hold up. Are you putting it right on the seam on the hood? For a perfect fit, I may even put a slight crease in the badge (just hope the black doesn't show "wear" marks) so you get a good seal with the 3M backer. Try a test fit prior to peeling the paper and see how it looks.

I actually ordered 2 sets. The purple and the white. LOL

BUT, in the meantime I found something even better.

www.buildasign.com allows you to custom make any car magnet you want. At fairly reasonable prices. They don't die-cut unfortunately, but I'm pretty sure with a nice straight edge and a utility knife (or x-acto knife) someone could cut it themselves.

I'd rather have magnets so they can be removed. I'm planning on making 2 12" x 24" magnets with varying sized Purple and White Decepticon insignia's.

Comes out to just under $90 for them with shipping.

I went to see Transformers Sunday evening. Loved it. Didn't have any problems with anything really. My only REAL complaint is that Soundwave (my favorite) was underutilized. The fight scenes between the Transformers in this movie were MUCH better than the first. I found it very difficult to tell exactly what was going on when Megatron and Optimus fought in the first movie. In this one I could make out every move with ease.

Driving by the crowd out front of the theatre after the movie the Camaro got pointing fingers, looks, and a kid yelling 'Bumblebee!'. LOL

Also funny was the family walking up to the theatre. Dad says to young son 'look at the new Camaro'. Kid yells as loud as possible 'OH MY GOD! A LAMBORGHINI!'. That is the funniest comment yet.

Also had 2 cops (when I was stopped at a light) almost ignoring the person they had pulled over across the street so they could check out my car. Heh. Even my friends in the car in front of me noticed it.

On the way home someone in a black 4th Gen wanted to play, but I was too close to my exit to oblige.

Had my car 5 weeks and still haven't seen another one on the road.
