You live in Shno's House of Camaro Z so the Z/28 it is. Well that and the Z/28 should have a higher collector value given the years of Z06 production.

Thanks No 3.

In all seriousness it would be cool if there were some sort of stripe package / option. Although that would add weight. Ha. Im surprised they didn't go with vinyl badging.

I think a higher percentage than we would hope.

Me? I would wish the production allotment to be in the hands of

a) those that appreciate the name
b) those that appreciate the history and how it led to this car
c) those that at least once a year would assure this car got a "proper workout" at the nearest track

Also from what I recall this car was the pipe dream of one man. From what I heard that man was Mark Reuss. So thanks to Mark for the passion and vision to differetiate this car in such a big way from the ZL1 and give us the Z28.

I recall when a Speedway White '01 Z06 was considered a highly collectable Vette. Before long, a Frost White (if offered) Z/28 will wildly surpass that car...

Number 3, put me down for all 3!

I believe it would be some time before the 2014 Z28 would appreciate, however I think it will hold much of its value before going back up.

$95,000 cars re-selling for LARGE premiums.

With a price north of ZL1, in numbers much less than ZL1, "supply vs. demand" will take over.

Look what folks are paying for restored '69 DZ-code 302 Camaros. As much or more than the new one will cost. And which one does what?

Remember, they made 20,302 Z/28s in '69...you won't see 10% of that as '14s...

Or...they made about 800 '69 COPO 9561s (L72 427 iron blocks)...and that number will approach '14 ZEE production...!!! Those cars, in running order and owned by someone who knew what they had, never dropped below original MSRP...

The US Consumer Price Index, today, is 6.52 times that of 1969.

A ZL1 Camaro was outrageously priced, in '69, at a base of about $7,200...which is the equivalent of $47,000 in Feb. 2013.

They sell for what, now?

An L72 COPO sold for less than $4,000, base, which is about the price of a 2LS Camaro today ($26,000).

I remember the 1st week of March 2009, thinking "maybe Ford stock @ $1.50 could be a buy".

I have that same feeling (although NOT the same expected rate of return) about the '14 ZEE...

Drive it. Enjoy it. Get all your money back...and maybe more...regardless of what the Gen-6 brings...

Wow, I can't bring myself to EVER think of a new car in terms of ROI. Maybe if you keep it 25 yrs and it has lw miles.

I bought the worst performance year Corvette, 1975, as my first Brand New car. Drove it for 2 years, put 19,000 miles on it, damn near waxed/rubbed the paint off. NEVER rained on. Sold it (remember, the most gutless "modern" Vette produced) in '77 for EXACTLY what I paid for it...because a new '77 was $2 Gs more.

My first '10 Camaro I bought in Sept/09 (emp. disc.), drove it all winter, sold it this time of year '10 for what it cost me. Many others did the same.

"Supply vs. Demand", a very basic tenet of our western economy...

Buying new vehicles does NOT have to cost you an arm 'n a leg...

...my thoughts. Same kind of release like the ZL1. Uber crazy attraction, even more than the ZL1, without the promo hype. It's going to sell itself based on it's own merit without commercials and onboard film clips. The price, and availability....there's another matter. Spring only availability for 2014, and one full year for 2015. Wixom has or is in the process of moving to Bowling Green. Hand bulit powerplants take alot of time to make. Low numbers, low allocations, and pricey I am affraid... a tall order to be the guy to get one. I don't have enough juice, or fight left in me, to try to be that golden guy with an allocation.
