...very true my friend. And I thought I fought a long, hard seemingly endless fight to be the guy to get an allocation for a ZL1<that was rough>.....I could write a book on the hoops of fire I went through on that matter. That in comparison is going to be childs play compared to what it will take to get a Z/28.

I believe it will hold it value as well. The Camaro already is one of the best in that category.

Very true, these are the best of times, and offer the best of Camaro's we have ever been fortunate enough to have seen in our lifetime.

Yes as much as I've always loved the 69' I'd never buy one before the new Z28 or ZL1.

...funny you mentioned that. When I bought my 2002 SS 35th Anniversary Camaro back when I coulda bought a '69 Z/28 for the same price. And I asked myself why? For investment? I did all that back when, drove that stuff, endured the scene because we had to. I like new and easy modern/comfy over old and unreliable/harsh relics. Why go back in time when one has been there. I'm not in this for the long haul, heck I ain't gonna live forever, and am not doing it for future growth on investment. I am in it for the adrenaline and the rush of driven the livin' daylights out of it....hahah....

Anybody else feel sorry for the Ford guys.... would love to see what is on their drawing board.... how much longer can the escalation continue? Also what part of the Z/28 will be/ was subsidised by the soaring 5th Gen sales?

So glad the 5th Gen got the Z/28. This group of owners deserves it. Even if almost none of us will breathe that rarified Z air.

...Ford? Never really considered that.....Camaro we bleed Chevy Bowtie blood...., and I for one don't consider the other....it's about us, and our brand. The competition will ensue no doubt, but as far as technology, inovation, and advancement goes, Chevy is on a roll.
