I'll owe a debt of gratitude to anyone who could give me my status. My dealer is great, but he never gives me an answer when I ask for a status code.

No offense, I'm sure some dealer on here will do it for you, but it's really a burden for them....they check one, then there's 50 people asking the same thing. Your dealer should give you that info....you are the customer, he is making money off you. It literally takes him 2 minutes. Go in and ask him for a printout of your "workbench history". They can do that in about one minute. Then you'll know. And ask him for that every couple of weeks. You have a lazy dealer....let him earn some of the money you're giving him.

that would be more like 50+ a day

That should explain why your dealer would not give you an answer. Probably doesn't have allocation :(

Not sure when you ordered, but if your at 1100, this means your dealer has no allocation, which means you could wait weeks or months before you get into cue for production.

There is no excuse for a dealer to not give a paying/waiting customer a status at their request. I would never mislead a customer, or withhold that info. hell I've given out over 100 status codes in the last 2 days on here, none of which are customers of mine

Well that sucks, cuz he told me last Wednesday that it went into build mode. Sweet.

The story now is that of 5 allocations he had last month, only 2 were accepted. now I'm looking at a 7/23 allocation, 8/10 build, if I'm incredibly lucky, which I have not been at any stage during this whole process. Anybody in SoCal have a 2SS/RS in yellow that they plan to cancel? I'm looking for a hail mary.
