No exaggeration here the cable has 3 500mcm phases, 2 4/0 ground leads and #8awg for a pilot wire all twisted together wrapped in a very thick rubberized compound. Very heavy piece of cable. The cable comes in 1000' spools and cost about $80,000 to own.

I did that several years ago, bike wreck where my ankle got mashed. Hurt like the dickens for a long time. I feel your pain, I was limping for weeks.
