2013 ZL1 PRODUCTION STOPPED?

I was talking to a friend of mine today and he told me he had went to the chevy store to order a new ZL1 and they told him you could not order one that the production was stopped on them. Does anyone know for sure? There store did not have one so he thought he would try and find one somewhere else.

It depends on the dealers allocation, they are still in production, weather or not they are accepting anymore orders depends on available allocation.

You can always go to the Chevrolet web site, build/spec your own Camaro, then you can search the local dealers inventory in your area.

Has production stopped? I doubt it.
Have they stopped accepting new orders? possibly
Has your dealer run out of allocations? possibly.

There's still an ass of them out there on the lots. Mainly due to silly dealer markups. I just had a dealer email me that they're dropping some $$ off an IOM 'vert because I told them if I was going to pay MSRP or more, then I might as well wait for the 2014. Instantly was willing to take over $1000 off the sticker price. Um, no.

After I posted about GM not taking anymore orders on ZL1 cars I called the dealer where I ordered mine from. The owner of the dealership is gone this week to colorado but I talked to the sales person there who should know what is going on and she told me there GM rep told them that production had stopped on the ZL1 for 2013.Now I asked about the allocation and she said they had one but again was told the production was over for the 2013 year. I wish someone from GM would jump in here and either confirm this or not.

Production has not stopped. I have a build date of next week for mine. Orders may have stopped however.

I ordered my 2013 in April of 2012. They may have moved to 2014 orders. Allocations will obviously come into play as most dealers get one or maybe 2 at the most. You have to move a ton of Camaros to get more.

Nope. I ordered one last week. The last day to put in an unallocated sold order for a 2013 Camaro is 4/19. The final date for an allocated Camaro order is 5/23. Buildout is 6/27.

How do you find out your build date? I would really like to know that for mine.
Well I guess the dealer I ordered mine from is trying to make me feel "special" because they lead me to believe that I just got an order in before they stopped production. The things they say and do to sell a car!!

Have you got an order number? If so, contact BeckyD from Rodgers Chevrolet on this site and she will find out for you as long as you have the order number (which is actually letters). Just go to the thread below.
