That's sweet! I want to do a project like this sometime soon... Don't worry, it won't be a copy, it will be something different.

How's it coming along? Looks like you have most of the pieces done, can't wait to see the finished product!

OT, but any chance your stereo is still out of the car? If so, and it's not too much trouble, I'd GREATLY appreciate some picts of the back of the stereo (plug areas specifically) and of the harness & plugs that go into it. Would really help me out with trying to see what all from the wiring info post actually goes into that head unit. If you can I would truly appreciate it, if not no worries, will just have to wait till my car arrives (whenever that may be). Thank you!!!

I should have some updated photos this week. Seats should be finished at the end of this week and almost the whole interior is finished. There are a few parts left getting down.

Cost for the whole interior is not cheap by any means.

It is done all by hand. (of course) there are some machines that done some of the stitching. The steering wheel is 100% by hand, thread by thread.

You can see how they work on it here...LOTS of WORK

Not really since we recover stock items with leather it does not affect the warranty for certain parts.

The steering wheel is fine and does not void warranty because it does not block the airbag.

The doors are stock units, as well as the armrest, console, shifter knob, ebrake, glove box, knee bolster, rear deck, rear seats, and roof liner. So, all the electronics is not inhibited in any way.

So, that being said have fun modding.

I can see a dealer not taking responsibility for removing one of your trimmed parts though. For example if a door trim panel needed to be removed by the dealer and it was damaged, I can see them saying it was your fault, not theirs due to the modification. Have you investigated this with Chevy? or do you have experience with the Corvettes you have done?

I think it looks great btw.

The blue isn't for me, but I can sure imagine colors that are. And with the color of the car you are putting that interior in, I know it will be a knock out. And being Ducati owner, I can hardly tell you how much real carbon fiber makes me drool.

I have no issue with my dealer. They took off my old wheel and put on a new one.

We have 1000s of 100% satisfied Corvette owners. To my knowledge dealers do not give us a problem. I will have my partner chime in.

Things that break on a door panel(example) are plastic pins that cost a few cents. There is not a lot to these interiors.
