Ok i just im recently traded my 4th gen for 2010 ss, i've already gotten the mufflers deleted and a custom x pipe. So next i want to pull the trigger on cai. So im wondering cai's are you guys having success with that are reasonably priced?

They are all around $400 for the most part. I got the K&N for right around $215. Numbers in my signature with the the tune and cold air basically. I don't think its too bad.

This along with "which is the best sound exhaust" are the MOST posted threads we have around here. A simple search of this section will bring up more threads than you can read in a month.

Roto Fab is the best in our opinion! Run it on our own cars as well.

I created the thread at link below specifically to help people in your current position. These threads tend to just end up as a poll of what people either have on their car or want to sell you. Give it a read and if you have any questions feel free to hit me up.

I love my Roto-fab but I sold it to buy a CAI brand. I kind of have to run a CAI because the hood I bought has plumbing to the front and matches up to the CAI cutout in the lid.

Otherwise, I'm not a huge fan of the CAI brand.

So far, I've tried:

K&N
Volant
CAI
Fastlane
Roto-Fab

Forgot to add:

New Era
Vararam

Damn I've gone through some CAI intakes!

I would recommend the ADM Race intake with the race scoop. MAF sensor is located inside the air box, away from under hood heat.
