By Car....

If you are coming by car from Cape Coral/Fort Myers or from the south...utilize either US41 North (Tamiami Trail) or I-75 North to Pine Island Road/Corridor. Take Pine Island Road West -- pass through intersection with Burnt Store Rd/Veterans Rd -- continue west through Matlacha until you reach the 4 way stop in Pine Island Center. At the 4 way stop, make a left and continue south approximately 7-8 miles into Saint James City. Woody's Waterside is located at the "Y" in the center of town on the right hand side approximately .25 mile after you cross the little bridge into St. James.

If you are coming from Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte area or North...utilize Burnt Store Road and travel south until you reach the intersection with Pine Island Road. At the intersection with Pine Island Road make a right and follow the directions above from Matlacha.



By Boat....

If you are coming by boat...utilize the ICW to marker "13". From marker "13" take a due North heading which will bring you into the main channel into Saint James City. Continue into the channel (you will have numerous homes located to your right/starboard and mangrove islands to your left/port). Turn onto the Monroe Canal (2nd canal in)....Woody's is located on the right hand side of the canal at the bend, approximately a 5-10 idle up the canal. The Monroe canal generally has at least 5-6 feet of water...with 300 feet of pull-along docking numerous boats of all sizes are easily accommodated!

• Modern Muscle Shootout is open to the following street legal vehicles:
~Cadillac CTS-V - 2004 and newer.
~ Camaro – 2010 and newer.
~Corvette – C5 and newer.
~Dodge Charger, Challenger, Chrysler 300 – 2006 and newer.
~Dodge Magnum - 2005-2008.
~Dodge Viper – all.
~Mustang – 2005 and newer.
~Pontiac G8 – 2008 to 2009.
~Pontiac GTO – 2004 to 2006.
• Race and Fun Run your Modern Muscle Car all day long!
• Speeds well over 100mph on our ¼ mile dragstrip.
• Free Drag Racing School to all participants.
• Free Event T-Shirt to the first 100 participants.
• Modern Muscle Shootout participant vehicles must be street legal with valid tag & registration.
• Each Modern Muscle Shootout participant will be given 2 ‘time runs’ then we go racing handicapped start based on you fastest time run.
• Special $5 BBQ plate to all participants and spectators.

I have been going to the FBODY Gathering for 4 years this will be my 5th. I was told for years I should not miss this event and I ignored them. One I went I was hooked.
This years Saturday theme night is Tropical Luau. Dress you or your self up in your best Magnum PI Gear. ( You Young Guys Can Google that!)

Don't miss meeting Scott Settlemire (FBODFATHER) he is always available to chat and sign your engine bay. He will be bringing lots of Toys from the Chevy Toy Box for you to finger up.
This event is HUGE!

Drive it, trailer it, tow it or event don't bring it this year and just be a spectator. But don't miss it.

It sure has been quite... i didnt have anything to say other then..... whewwwwwwhooo... i finally got the deal done to get my 350... the build is back on. now im in search of a 6spd out of a 4th gen but i may end up settling for a 5spd. and thats ok it will just give me something to do in the future..

Guys as some of you might know my v6 Camaro got totaled. I just got an SS. I took out some parts off my v6 before it got towed.

Im willing to give away my CAI for my V6. its a K&N . all you gotta do is pay for the shipping or come pick it up. let me know
