Chin up my friend, it won't be long now!

Mike I can't wait. I haven't driven this car since September. I was Away in school for 3 weeks in Sepetember. Got home drove it to new era, cam swap, then my buddy took it down to Horseheads, where it has been. Minus a few starts that was about it.. So I need this back soon. Almost 6-7 months. Not this year. I'm going over 15,000 mile marker .

This happened last year. Put the car away early in the shop and didn't get it back till may, weather was already warm.. Not again, I'm not sitting on the sidelines.

LoL 40k and that bad boy is mine. Even at 45k that's mine. I would strip my car in 1 week and trade it in. Spike you gave me hope . But all honestly, LS7, 10k brake upgrade over a SS model I can't see this car being under 60k. And at 60k I'm buying a zl1 in two years, already superchargered, suspension, mylink, and comfort (not like the z/28 track car).

Mike where did u get the Vinyl ring around your wheels? It's not paint is it? I'm thinking about doing a white one to break up the black. Also cleaning these wheels, Any tricks and what to use and what not to use?

Spike, what's the time frame on your bumper and then all the clear protector your having Installed, When should your car be done?

The stripes are hand painted on by a pinstriper. I just use mild soap and water by hand and dry them off before spotting can occur. DO NOT use any spray on wheel cleaner products, much too harsh and corrosive!

Welcome to New York where taxes are high and the weather is unpredictable very much and round and round we go.

Chris said it should be done in 2 wks. THEN front stripes replaced THEN 3 weeks for paint to cure THEN 2 days for clear shield. Got time to finish putting new mods in next week.

Well, I went and did it................GOT THE CAMARO OUT!!!!!!! Took it for a long 2 mile drive, rinsed the barn dust off of it, took it for a 6 mile blow dry, and put it back in the barn. Now I can't wait for the roads to be clean!

Techinny, I couldn't resist either. Drove a half mile each way, under 2500 rpms. Washed her off, it was great just to drive down the street. Was a slow trip, but worth it.
