got good news and bad. i worked all weekend tryin to hide the fuse box. friday, i cut all the old factory wire wrap off and could not get enuff to get it in the the airbox. I had alrdy cut the bracket deal off that holds it so i was stuck with having to do something. It just didnt look right to me . So i got up early saturday. went out and started extending wires about 30 wires i had to extend about 15 inches. i was taking pics while i was doing this and i sat my camera down while i was doing some sodering (spellin) , my dog must of picked it up and i still havent found it lol. but got it moved just got to paint some stuff and clean the area up. then ill take some final shots of it.

here is some pics of the fuse box move. i havent got to clean it up yet. i also made a piece behind the headlight to hide all the wires that run just over the frame. man was it a job. i got to get a new inner fender or fix and paint the one i got. i had the fuse box there turned diff. because i alrdy had cut the fuse box bracket out and got aggrovated and just put it there. Next morning i went out and just started cutting wires and extending them to make it easier on me.

When you move the wire bung over did you guys put the ground wire to the side of the fender or does it need to be connected to the engine?

Krusher I haven't looked into it yet but that's one thing I will be looking into. I will let you know what I find out.

************************************************** *********Quick update

Behind the scenes we have been making some progress on the custom fan shroud. The four bolts holding each fan will be replaced with ARPs 12 point stainless.

The legs of the fan mounts will be shortened to sink the fan so that they are closer to the fins.

It is coming along nicely. should look good once it is powder coated and mounted to the radiator.

I am ordering a new radiator from Flex-a-lite and will be selling the one I have, as the one I have needs to many modifications for my application. I'm also selling the Vararam and the Lingenfelter heads. I will post a link when I create threads in the member sales section.

Do you mind walking us through the process of relocating the fuse box, I'm considering this myself. Thanks!

Matty I agree 100%. There are a lot of guys just like Dekan who have added so much value on here.

Quick Update:

Gave the Flex-a-lite radiator some love.

First I had the tanks polish to a chrome shine. Next I paint ed the fins with a light coat of Semi gloss High heat paint. Looks 200 % better.

The black anodized Billet Specialty cap looks really good.

And Lastly, I brushed in betweeen each fins. Lastly

I placed my last batch of ARP bolts order today (Hopefully I didn't forget any). I have replaced (excluding interior) every single bolt on G5.R! The eight bolts on the Flex-a-Lite will be replace with 12 point stainless.

NOTE: I will be selling this radiator as soon as I get my Flex-a-lite replacement. For my application, it would cost to much money to make all the modification I need to make to this one to make it work. This is an $1,100 radiator not including what I paid for polishing, powder coating all the brackets, paint, ARP, etc..... I will let it go to the first $650 plus shipping that comes along. (Does not include billet cap)
