Winter car

Sold my winter car a few days ago. Starting to think I should have kept it. Drive the Camaro on nice days and my cash car on rainy days. Any one out there keep a cheap cash car around to drive when the weather ain't so nice?

bmw m5,porsche 911,cayenne , c63amg,audi s8 are all running in the rain..and some in snow too..
find yourself another beater, what can i say? life is too short not to enjoy the car of your dreams even when it's raining. just imagine going with your beater on a hot muggy day.. no a/c windows all fogged up sweating like a pig for that restaurant date...
take the camaro full a/c comfy and stay fresh..sound like a women add lol! anyway you get my point. each to his own like they say..

^ WTF?

As to the OP's question, I thought about selling the beater as well, but I'd be in the same position the following Winter. So I'm keeping the Blazer at least another season.

I keep my 1997 Jeep Wrangler for the winter months.

I drive my SS from march to november. Until it snows. I drive it in the rain, I drive it early season when the roads still have a little crap on them. I wash it religiously. (as in, every time I drive it during the march/april salt and muck fest in NY.

No point in having a nice car and not driving it because it's "wet outside" It's not a show car, its a 430 horsepower permagrin inducing beast whose existence is solely to make me feel and act like a 16 year old.

But I keep up with the maintanance, wash, wax, detail spray. I'll be doing a clay and polish late springtime this year also. Gotta put in the work if you want to play and still look pretty I suppose.

I have a 2009 GMC Sierra Crew Cab that is going to be my "winter beater" once the Camaro gets here in a couple of weeks. The truck will be used for moving stuff, etc.

Yes, Camaro sits in a dry garage from November till April, plus I work around car hating libtards, so I can't drive it to work without getting a nasty note or worse.

I have taken good care of my '99 Oldsmobile Alero, which I have had since I was a sophomore in high school (approximately 9 years). Still runs like a champ, that is my winter car/daily driver. The Camaro is my occasional daily driver/weekend car. Also gives me a multi-car discount on insurance!

We have a 2002 Ford Escape that I keep on the road year round. We do DD the Camaro rain or shine from April till the snow flies. We use the Escape as a grocery getter or when I need to transport my dogs in the summer. It's also nice to have a third car around if one of the main cars needs to be in the shop.

For snow, crappy weather, crappy areas, crappy parking, etc I drive my Jeep Liberty 4x4. For fun, I drive the Camaro.

Yup, Prius is the daily driver. Until 300k I hope. Camaro @19mpg is just for nice days and special occasions - but boy do those days really count!

Woudn't have it any other way.
