I would be fine with running a wire into the cabin. That way I could turn it on and off easily, at any time. I have a whole row of switches down near the gear shift, could easily add another. Other people might not like that, though.

i would think this would be tricky since its all the way in the back.. unless you do some kind of remote.. i dont really care for the flicker while im driving.. its usually for shows only that i would turn it on...
dont want to grab the cops attention lol

It's pretty easy to find a route for a wire in from any end of the car. Lots of options if you're willing to pop some panels and look around. I just think it would be pretty cool to turn flicker on for a moment when some guy is tailgating you. Maybe right before you punch it and leave him in the dust

It's only for show, so I'd be fine with a switch in the plastic that you have to remove to get to the back of the tail lights. Just pop the trunk and flip the switch.

"As some have suggested, DOT/NHTSA will be on the back burner for now. We have matched the brightness of the stock brake lights and will start with that."

Taken from page 1, I do not believe they have been approved as of yet.

A switch would be great. Ideally right in the cabin but that would be about 8-14 feet of wire. So I suppose a switch mounted right near the tail light but easily wired in so that if someone wanted they could add in a bunch of extra wire and mount in the cockpit.

Its a sick feature but if its too difficult to implement a toggle then don't worry!

Maybe? I don't want to commit yet, but, anything is possible that far out.

Flicker News
We could do a PnP harness, but, there would be a wire to run from one side to the other. We could also split it into two parts, one for each side, but, you would need to tap a ground on the driver side.

We will also support Flicker-Inhibit so that you can toggle it on or off with a switch.

So, is there anyone crazy enough to want each tail lamp to flicker independently instead of each side, or, all four in sync?
