is their a LS3 bulletin, cause my engine ticks a lot and i thought it was the lifters. I took it to my dealership and they said it was normal to tick like that.

I've got over 12,000 miles and don't hear the litters ticking. Should I be worried that at some point in the future they will start ticking since I have an early build with cheap litters or since I haven't heard it yet, am I probably good? Thinking of getting a tune, but don't want to if I'm going to have this problem. Thanks

I've been told that this doesn't really cause any harm, just a common thing with the GM push rod V8 engines. Personally I did not like the idea of an engine tick upon start so I took it to my local GM dealer.

There is a TSB posted on here which provides the reference number and let them know of this TSB and quote the number and they should fix it.

Got mine done, no more tick, no issues.
