I need to get more interesred in winter activities!!

Here in Wisconsin we are a good month or so behind on the weather. It still seems like February. We're stuck in a seemingly endless cycle, pummeling us with snow/slush/rain. The temps have been roughly 15-20 degrees below normal for a lot of this time, struggling to get into the 30's. And the forecast I just saw calls for this crap to continue throughout the coming week. I'm forgetting what sunshine looks like. How depressing...seeing my ZL1 still in hibernation??!! It's been five months now since I was last able to drive it.

A few advantages though--low insurance rates, no flies or mosquitos, and no bugs on the windshield!!

COME ON WINTER. BE GONE, ALREADY!!

I hear you on that, I'm about 3-4hrs south of you and instead of snow it has done nothing but rain all last week and now this week too. Might get a couple hour break tomorrow to squeeze in a drive and a high around 70 tomorrow before more rain and 40s and 50s this week.

At least the build date for my ZL1 doesn’t start until the 22nd of this month so it’s not like I can go for a ride in it. The only problem with winter extending itself, I haven’t been in my other car for over six months because of the weather. Hopefully this S!!T won’t last much longer.

I believe the problem is; you have your snowblower on the hoist above the Camaro .....that is a bad omen!

Average high here is supposed to be 60 degrees by now. It's snowed the last 4 days i a row and there isn't even a 50 degree day in the forecast. Built a snowman and went sledding with the kids yesterday.

Sounds like some Western Winnipeg type weather & fun..... at least your making the most of it

"Boatguyzl1" is a Canadian southerner..... he always gets the warm weather first ......Hang on my empathy is with you....unless you have a bigger garage.

If it makes you feel better....weather history...1940 it was "-7" on this day

No kidding this is unreal last week was a kick in the rear end.... the roads were starting to get clean from the rain and then all the salt trucks were out yet again.
This week is looking better lets hope it is gone for a very long time.
I have the same lift in my garage I had a bit of a scare last week when I was on the lift putting something in the attic of the garage ( I couldnt take the car off to set up a ladder) and I had a friend lowering the car & the back locks were not engaged but the front were & the back posts actually lifted off the ground and the car was on an angle that was a bit more than concerning (scared the crap out of me). The only way to get it back straight was to put the lift up and what a noise when the lift corrected itself. I will be fastening the lift to the floor today.
BTW that garage is a beauty....

Yep a Solstice coupe, a very rare car.

Tell me about this weather. I wanted to take the beast out yesterday, but it looked like rain and I didn't chance it. Not to mention that the temps were not that high and with ultra high performance tires,... yeah. No go. So, I say to myself, I will take her out tomorrow morning, (meaning today), after mass. No such luck. On the way home from mass, there were some rain drops on the windshield. Enough already!!

Yes! Yes! All this mojo is finally starting to work. We had a full day without rain today. It still wasn't warm enough to be out without a jacket but no rain! And get this tomorrow should be 17, that 68 to the Americans. It's gonna be a regular heat wave.

Yes the third in the picture is a Solstice Coupe GXP, #355 of 1266 ever made. Not as rare as an original ZL1 but certainly a bit of a collector. I call her J-Lo, because she is a little to big in the back end but somehow it just looks right. The ZL1 is Lucy, as in Lucy Liu because she reminds me of an angry Asian woman, the Vette is Marilyn, a classic for all time.

My lift is not bolted to the floor, in fact i put it on the wheels and move it when I am in one of my OCD cleaning moods. Tomorrow I get to wash and wax the floor in the garage so I will be moving it again.

I guess that did sound a little obsessive. I do realize this is a trivial thread but at least we aren't detuning anything.
