Not sure yet. Depends on how things go next weekend.

When the track is running street cars, then the surface is usually pretty bad for drag radial cars.

I went to Dragway 42 yesterday, if anyone has been there they know its not exactly the best track. I was swerving to miss pot holes after the traps. But I still managed to catch a pretty good sized piece of asfalt one time. Best run was 12.47 @ 118 with a 2.17 60', Track was pretty slick. Car was way more consistent then I was, trapped 118mph all day long. Only times it didn't was when my clutch went straight to the floor and burnt up, one time I missed 3rd and then one was 117.7 on a clean run. Im going to be ordering a clutch now, you could smell my clutch pretty much all day when I went down the track minus a hand full of times. Ill post up some more slips later today.

I agree. Norwalk is one of the best tracks in the country.

I will be racing at Norwalk too, since it wasn't open yet I went to 42 this week. I might go up to Norwalks spring warm up but I won't be racing at all, don't think my clutch can handle the traction up their with how it did on ice at 42

. Might have my new clutch by then but even then I won't want to race on it right out of the box.

I ran potenza RE070 285/35r20. I was very disappointed in the loss of grip when i put the factory goodyears back on. The potenza tires gripped as well as the cars with full on track tires! I have potenza RE070 in 305/30R20 as well. I plan on running them on the stock wheels all 4 corners when the good years are shot. Im not sure how the lower profile will look tho... but it works for the Z/28

Ok, I was thinking about possibly going this weekend but either im not going to have my new clutch and being running on my old one or be on a new clutch that hasn't been broken in at all(in which case I won't even run it). Also its going to be EXTREMELY busy being that it is Norwalks spring warm up. Just let me know when you want to go, I don't work weekends and normally get off at 3:30 during the week so if you want to wait until their friday or wednesday nights thats fine too.
