I wouldn't trade in a low-mileage Camaro for a high-mileage 'vette. Now if it were a low-mileage 'vette, that's another story. 75K is a lot of miles. Why not go for an SS instead? They're both nice cars, but different, so it depends on what you like best.

Seems like thats a lot of miles for a car that is five years older than yours. And you said it yourself: you already own your "dream car." Look, do what you want to do to make yourself happy, IF you can afford it. But I personally wouldn't see the reasoning in getting a car that is five years older than the one you have.

Make no apologies for what you like. If the vette is your passion go and buy one. Its the saying different strokes for different folks. Myself i love seeing vettes of all years at car shows its a awesome vehicle but i would rather have a muscle car in my garage.

First of all, I want to thank each person for responding with their kind opinions. That's why I love Camaro5!

In regards to wanting v8 that's just 1/4 of the reasoning, yeah ofcourse I wouldn't trade for another v6.
Once I sat and drove the C6 it just stole my heart and ran away. For 5 weeks Straight (no exageration). I have been searching, researching for and about the vettes and having been searching for a buyer. I am at the state where I do not feel the same about my car before the search for a C6 began. Before the corvettes I looked at the SS but now its different. The good thing about the C6's they did not change in looks since 05.
The only thing that's holding me back is the higher miles and year of the car, also being worried about any problems that will arise. I don't know what else to say lol.

Thanks guys, Ali.

Both cars are awesome in their own ways. You want the Vette? Then get the Vette.

I feel like a vette is like a like a sprinter/WR think of Desean Jackson with elite speed where as a mucsle car looks tough and is more like a Earl Campbell/ Adrian Peterson still fast.

Go with 08 or newer. Ls3 in 08 and above=fast. Ls2 in 05-07=slug. Also in 06 and above is six speed in the auto.
